CONTEST OVERVIEW
- Contest Name: Capture HK Teen Photo Contest

ELIGIBILITY
- Age: Must be 10-17 years old at time of entry
- Residence: Must be living in Hong Kong during contest period
- Categories: Two age divisions (10-13 and 14-17)
- Limit: One entry per category, maximum 3 total entries per contestant
PHOTO CATEGORIES
- Street Life & Energy - Hong Kong's bustling daily life, people, transportation, markets
- Hong Kong Neighbourhood - Your local area, what makes your corner of HK special
- Hong Kong Nature - Parks, harbour views, beaches, nature within the city
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Format: JPEG files only
- Equipment: Any camera or mobile phone accepted
- Originality: All photos must be taken by the contestant
- Ownership: Photos must be original work, not copied or heavily derived from others
- Recent Work: Photos should be taken within 2 years of submission
- Editing: Basic editing allowed (brightness, contrast, cropping). Heavy manipulation discouraged
- Size: Maximum 10MB per file
- Title: Each photo must have a creative title (50 characters max)
- Description: 2-3 sentence description required for each photo
ENTRY PROCESS
- How to Enter: Submit via official entry form at https://form.jotform.com/260533205654452
- Required Information:
- Contestant's full name and age
- Contact email and phone
- Parent/guardian email
- School name (optional)
- Parental Consent: Required for all participants under 18
- Entry Fee: FREE
- Confirmation: Email confirmation sent upon successful submission
JUDGING & PRIZES
- Judging Criteria:
- Creativity and personal vision (40%)
- Connection to chosen category (30%)
- Technical quality appropriate to age level (20%)
- Emotional impact (10%)
- Judges: Professional photographers and art educators
- Awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in each age category for each photo category
- Prizes: To be announced
- Certificates: All winners receive official certificates
- Gallery Exhibition: Top entries from all categories will be displayed
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
- Ownership: Contestants retain full ownership of their photographs
- Usage Rights: By entering, contestants grant Wander with Nicole limited rights to:
- Display photos in contest gallery exhibition
- Use winning photos in promotional materials for future photography events
- Feature photos on social media and website (with credit)
- Credit: Photo credit will always be given to the photographer
- Commercial Use: No commercial use without additional permission
DISQUALIFICATION
Entries may be disqualified for:
- Failure to meet age or residency requirements
- Submission after deadline
- Photos not taken by the contestant
- Inappropriate content (violence, explicit material, etc.)
- Failure to provide required information
- Violation of any contest rules
GENERAL TERMS
- Deadline: All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM HKT on April 22, 2026
- Technical Issues: Contest organisers not responsible for technical failures preventing submission
- Winner Notification: Winners will be contacted via email by May 10, 2026
- Privacy: Personal information used only for contest purposes and event communication
- Changes: Contest organisers reserve right to modify rules if necessary
- Disputes: All decisions by judges are final
- Liability: Participants enter at their own risk; organisers not liable for any damages

- Photography Ethics: Respect people's privacy when taking photos
- Location Safety: Always prioritise safety when taking photos in public spaces
- Respect: Be respectful of Hong Kong's communities and environment while photographing
